Decorating A Bedroom With Aqua Color ~Simply Beautiful~

The inspiration for my decorating a spare bedroom started with my love of mint colored mason jars. The color is inviting and soft and compliments white. And to be honest it reminds of the beautiful sky.

On a warm afternoon I lay in bed with summer sunlight coming in and daydream of an faded ocean sky with marshmallow clouds - and feathered breezes that push up soft aqua waves at my feet.

Newly painted vintage furniture, touches of fancy knobs, handmade fabric fish, prism heart garland and handmade yarn balls bring the room together in a grand yet simple way.

Adding handmade and vintage items is a money saver, and supporting thrift shops and vintage stores helps the local economy as well as the environment. It's always nice to spend very little money and have something turn out grand.

Thanks for visiting!
